ABOUT
DIANA GALINDO, FNTP
Brain Health & Functional Nutrition Coach | Speaker
I grew up in the sunshine valley of Cochabamba, Bolivia, grounded in fresh food, homemade meals, and daily movement. I didn’t realize it then, but those early rhythms would become the foundation of my life’s work.
When I moved to the United States for college, life accelerated. I built a career in marketing technology in the oil and gas industry and later served as Honorary Consul General of Bolivia in Houston, sitting on the Executive Committee of the Houston Consular Corps — the third largest diplomatic corps in the U.S., representing more than 70 countries.
I was proud of what I was achieving.
Like many high-achieving women, I didn’t realize I was living in a constant state of stress.
I worked long hours, trained for half marathons, followed a “low-fat healthy” diet, volunteered, and tried to do it all. On the outside, I looked accomplished and well. Inside, my body was depleted.
A Turning Point
At 38, after years of chronic stress, over-exercising, and under-nourishing my body, I went through six painful years of infertility. I felt exhausted, foggy, and frustrated that despite “doing everything right,” my health was slipping.
Shortly after becoming a mother, my father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Supporting him from Houston while he lived in Bolivia — while navigating new motherhood — stretched me physically and emotionally.
Even with access to leading medical care, I witnessed his health decline. The experience shifted my focus toward a deeper question:
What shapes brain health long before diagnosis?
I began studying the connections between nourishment, metabolic health, inflammation, nervous system regulation, and cognitive function — and how daily habits influence how clearly and steadily we live.
Discovering Functional Nutrition
Driven by both love and necessity, I became certified as a Functional Nutrition Therapy Practitioner (FNTP).
As I began applying what I was learning, I experienced profound changes — steadier energy, clearer thinking, improved resilience to stress. I saw firsthand how supporting the brain through nutrition and lifestyle habits influences mood, focus, hormonal balance, and overall wellbeing.
My father passed away before I completed my certification. His loss deepened my commitment to understanding how lifestyle patterns influence cognitive health across the lifespan.
While we cannot control every outcome, we can strengthen the terrain.
Today, on the eve of 59, I feel stronger, clearer, and more grounded than I did decades ago. That transformation was not built on extremes — it was built on consistent, brain-supportive habits layered over time.
That is what I now teach.
My Work Today
As a Brain Health & Functional Nutrition Coach and speaker, I help women, families, and organizations strengthen the brain as the foundation of lifelong wellness.
My work centers on one signature framework — the Brain Boost Method.
I translate emerging brain health research into practical, actionable strategies that individuals, families, and workplaces can implement immediately.
I work across three interconnected pathways:
✨ Women — Supporting clarity, energy, and resilience through perimenopause, menopause, and the decades beyond.
✨ Families — Helping parents build strong biological foundations that support children’s focus, mood, and long-term physical and emotional health.
Why Brain Health
The brain directs every system in the body — energy production, digestion, hormonal regulation, mood, focus, and movement.
When we support the brain through daily nourishment, blood sugar balance, restorative sleep, nervous system regulation, and movement, the entire body functions more steadily.
Brain health is not only about preventing cognitive decline.
It is about expanding how clearly, energetically, and fully we live — now and in the decades ahead.
I am inspired by the vision behind Houston’s Brain Health Capital initiative and am committed to contributing meaningfully to this growing movement through education, coaching, and speaking.
My mission is to make brain health practical, empowering, and sustainable — so women, families, and organizations can build resilience that lasts a lifetime.
Let’s Begin
If you are ready to feel clearer, steadier, and more resilient, I would be honored to support you — whether through speaking, coaching or group programs.
