Two or three days before

  • Make pizza sauce
  • Make and divide pizza dough; roll one into a pumpkin shape and the second into a ghost shape
  • Make Pumpkin Hummus
  • Make Whole-Wheat Sugar Cookies, use cookie cutter to cut pumpkin shapes; bake cookies and when completely cool, place in a covered container
  • Make lime version of CMF Basic Salad Dressing
  • Place Oreo cookies in blender or food processor and blend until fine crumbs. Store in a covered container

Make Pizza Sauce

  • put two 28-ounce cans of tomato sauce in blender with a handful of fresh basil and puree until smooth
  • season to taste with salt and pepper

Day before

  • Peel carrots, cut carrots and celery into sticks, place in a container in an inch of water, cover and refrigerate
  • Cut celery into “stems” for tangerine pumpkins

Day of

  • Spread tomato sauce on pizzas
  • Spread grated mozzarella on pizzas
  • Place salami all around pumpkin-shape pizza
  • Defrost 1 cup of peas
  • Fill a pie place or similiar shaped dish with Oreo crumb “dirt”Dip “pumpkin” sugar cookies in dulce de leche and place in Oreo “dirt”
  • Place pumpkin hummus in a bowl (or scoop out a small pumpkin and place hummus inside), and surround with carrot and celery sticks and snap peas
  • Peel tangerines and place celery “stem”. Put them on a platter and cover

Half hour before serving

  • Bake pizzas
  • While pizzas are baking, toss spinach with peas and salad dressing to taste
